For people using CasePilot to find a lawyer

Naposledy aktualizováno: 3. 9. 2026

1. Who you are contracting with

CasePilot is operated by Adam Mrabeti, a sole trader registered in France, trading under the commercial name CasePilot.

  • Registered address: 50 Avenue des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris, France
  • Registration: SIREN 933981425, RCS Paris
  • Contact: support@casepilot.cz

By using casepilot.cz you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. What CasePilot is — and what it is not

CasePilot is a directory and booking platform. It lets you search for lawyers, read what they say about themselves and what other clients have said, send them a request, and book a consultation.

We are not a law firm. We do not practise law, we do not give legal advice, and nothing on this site is legal advice. Articles, pricing guides and the legal dictionary are general information, may be out of date, and are no substitute for advice about your own situation.

We are not your lawyer and we are not part of your case. Any relationship you enter into is between you and the lawyer. We are not a party to it, we do not supervise the lawyer's work, and we are not responsible for it.

We do not recommend anyone. Appearing on CasePilot is not an endorsement. Search results are not a ranking of quality. Choosing a lawyer is your decision.

We take no share of legal fees. You pay the lawyer directly, on whatever terms you agree with them. We never handle that money.

3. How results are ordered

You should know how the list you are looking at was put together.

Search results are ordered by, in order of importance:

  1. Plan. Lawyers on a paid plan appear above lawyers on the free plan. This is paid placement: lawyers pay us a subscription, and that subscription improves their position. Paid plans also include the verification described below, so in practice the profiles you see first are ones we have checked — but it is the payment that determines the order, and it says nothing about how good a lawyer is.
  2. How well they match your filters — practice area, specialisation, location, language, consultation type.
  3. Whether they have availability you can book.
  4. Rating and number of reviews, where reviews are shown.

You can change the ordering with the "Sort by" control. Nobody can pay us for a specific position, and we do not accept payment to remove or demote a particular lawyer.

4. Your account

You can browse without an account. To send an inquiry, book a consultation or leave a review, you need one.

You sign in with a code sent to your email address. Keep access to that address secure — anyone who can read your email can get into your account. Tell us at support@casepilot.cz if you think someone else has access.

Give us accurate information. You must be at least 18 and using the site for yourself or for someone you are entitled to act for.

You can delete your account at any time from your account page.

5. Inquiries

When you send an inquiry, we pass it to the lawyer you chose. What happens next is up to them — they may reply, they may not, and they are under no obligation to take your case. We do not guarantee a reply or a response time.

Write carefully. Do not include details of criminal proceedings, health information, or other sensitive details in an inquiry. Keep it general and save the specifics for a conversation with the lawyer.

Lawyers on a free plan see the text of your inquiry but not your contact details unless they pay to unlock them. That is a commercial arrangement between us and the lawyer and does not affect what you pay, which is nothing.

6. Bookings

Booking a consultation through CasePilot creates an agreement between you and the lawyer, not between you and us. The lawyer sets the price, the length and the terms. We show you what they have told us.

A booking request has to be accepted by the lawyer. Until it is, nothing is confirmed. Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds are matters between you and the lawyer.

If the lawyer's calendar is wrong, if they do not turn up, or if the consultation is not what you expected, that is between you and them. Tell us anyway at support@casepilot.cz — we want to know.

7. Reviews

You can review a lawyer if you have an account. Reviews are visible on the lawyer's profile only if that lawyer has switched public reviews on; if they have switched them off, no reviews are shown at all, positive or negative.

Where reviews come from. A review can be written either by someone who booked a consultation with that lawyer through CasePilot, or by someone the lawyer invited to review them. Every review comes from a registered account, and we show which of the two routes it came by.

An invited review is from a person the lawyer worked with outside the platform. We do not independently confirm that they were a client. Because the lawyer chooses whom to invite, invited reviews are not a random sample of that lawyer's clients — bear that in mind when you read them.

We do not verify the accuracy of what any review says.

What a lawyer can and cannot do. A lawyer can reply publicly to a review. A lawyer cannot edit a review, delete a review, or choose which reviews are shown — the setting is all or nothing.

Write honestly and from your own experience. Do not post anything false, abusive, or identifying third parties. Do not post a review in exchange for payment or a benefit. We may remove reviews that break these rules, and we will tell you why.

8. What you must not do

Do not use CasePilot to:

  • post anything unlawful, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory or deliberately false;
  • impersonate anyone, or claim to be a lawyer when you are not;
  • send spam, advertise, or harvest contact details;
  • interfere with the site, scrape it at scale, or try to get round its security or access controls;
  • upload malware or anything designed to damage the service or its users.

If you break these rules we may remove the content and suspend or close your account.

9. Reporting illegal content

If you believe something on CasePilot is illegal, tell us at support@casepilot.cz. Include the address of the page, what the content is, why you believe it is illegal, and how to contact you.

We will confirm we received your notice, assess it, and tell you what we decided and why. If we remove content or restrict an account, we tell the person affected and give them our reasons, and they can dispute the decision by writing to the same address.

The same address is our point of contact for authorities and for users under the Digital Services Act. You may write to us in English or Czech.

10. Content you post

You keep ownership of what you write. You give us permission to store it, display it on the site and pass it to the lawyer you addressed it to, for as long as we need to in order to run the service. That permission ends when the content is deleted, except where we must keep records by law.

11. Availability

We try to keep CasePilot running, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or withdraw features. If we discontinue the service, we will give you reasonable notice and time to retrieve your data.

12. Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for providing the platform itself with reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for: the advice, conduct, fees, availability, competence or professional standing of any lawyer; the accuracy of what a lawyer says about themselves; what any client writes in a review or an inquiry; or the outcome of any legal matter.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.

Subject to that, and to your mandatory rights as a consumer, our total liability to you in connection with CasePilot is limited to the amount you paid us — which, for clients, is normally nothing.

13. Ending this agreement

You can stop using CasePilot and delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if we are required to by law, or if keeping it open would expose us or our users to harm. Unless the law prevents us, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

14. Law, disputes and complaints

These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live — if you live in the Czech Republic, Czech consumer protection law continues to apply to you in full.

If you are a consumer, you can bring proceedings against us in the courts of the country where you live, and we can only bring proceedings against you there.

Talk to us first: support@casepilot.cz. We try to answer complaints within 14 days.

If we cannot resolve it, a consumer in the Czech Republic can turn to the Česká obchodní inspekce (Czech Trade Inspection Authority), Štěpánská 44, 110 00 Praha 1, www.coi.cz, which is the competent body for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes. A consumer in France can turn to the consumer mediator we are affiliated with; contact us for the current details.

15. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email at least 15 days beforehand. Continuing to use CasePilot after that means you accept the change; if you do not, close your account.
